Mobile – Create a new Work Order

The Work Order (WO) is the entity which represents the maintenance work to be performed for an asset or location.

To create a work order in Work Report follow these steps:

  1. Select the Work orders option from the menu.
  2. The list of work orders will be displayed.
  3. On the lower right, press the “Create” button (+), which will display the work order creation screen.
  4. Fill in the required fields;
  5. Press the Save button on the upper right corner.
The created work order will assume the initial state in the backoffice if either the Location or Asset field is filled in.

The created work order will assume the “Draft” state in the backoffice if either the Location or Asset field is filled in. 

Only assets and locations specified in the user’s access levels and work centers are displayed.

You can only change the “date” field if the WO is in “draft” state.

After synching a record, you can only change the expected date using the “WM” module. 

How to change a work order?

You can only change work orders that have not been synchronized yet.
To change data in a work order, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Work orders option from the menu.
  2. From the list of Work orders, select the Drafts tab to display the list of work orders created on the device which have not been synchronized in Valuekeep yet.
  3. Edit the work order and change the desired fields.
  4. Press the Save button on the upper right corner.

How to delete a work order?

You can only delete work orders that have not been synchronized yet.
To delete a work order, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Work orders option from the menu.
  2. From the list of Work orders, select the Drafts tab to display the list of work orders created on the device which have not been synchronized in Valuekeep yet.
  3. Edit the work order and press the “delete” symbol on the upper right corner.
  4. A message to confirm if want to delete the Work Order is displayed. Press “YES” to delete the WO, or “No” if you do not want to delete it.

How to associate photos or attachments to a work order?

To associate photos or attachments with a work order, follow these steps:

  1. On the screen for editing or creating a work order, press the “Attachments” tab.
  2. On the lower right corner, press the “+” symbol. A window with the “Photo” or “Files” options will be displayed.

The “Files” option will trigger a file explorer window where you can select the desired file.

If you run a Windows operating system, you can only access the ValuekeepDownloads and ValuekeepUploads folders. We suggest placing the files you wish to upload inside the ValuekeepUploads folder.
If you run an Android operating system, the ValuekeepDownloads and ValuekeepUploads folders are inside the system’s Downloads folder. Under Windows operating systems, the ValuekeepDownloads and ValuekeepUploads folders can be found at: C:Users%USERNAME%DownloadsValuekeep Mobile.

How to associate several maintenance plans to a work order?

To associate a work order with more than one maintenance plan, access the “Maintenance Plans” section and select it from the list of available plans (approved).”
After selecting the desired plans, these will be displayed when you return to the selected plans.
