This operation makes easier to dispose of a set of assets and corresponding child assets.
- To access this option, select Assets | Assets | Inactivate Asset and select the asset to be disposed of.
- Select the Disposal method.
- Specify the asset’s disposal cost, date and person in charge for the disposal.
This option inactivates the selected asset and child assets permanently, as well as meters, monitorings and routes associated with assets. All work orders and preventive maintenances associated with the assets to be inactivated change to the “Canceled” state.
