Mobile – Manage Work Orders

It is important for technicians to see details of the WOs that they must execute.

You can access the Work Order’s details from the following options:

  1. Menu | Work Orders list: displays the list of work orders;
  2. Menu | Calendar: displays the list of work orders by week/month;

After opening the list or the calendar, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Work Order you want to edit:
  2. Select it. The Work Order’s details screen is displayed.

The Work Order’s details screen is divided into 4 tabs:

  • Details – the work order’s basic information is displayed in this tab.
  • Tasks – this tab displays all tasks from the current work order that are assigned to the authenticated user.
  • Remarks – this tab displays any remarks added to the work order. Remarks can be edited if the state of the work order allows for adding remarks.
  • Attachments – this tab displays attachments to the work order, asset or location. If the work order is associated with an Asset, the attachments on the asset’s file are displayed, if it is related to a location, attachments on the location’s file are displayed.

How to see more information about the Work order?

To read more information about the Work Order, press the (i) symbol on the upper right corner.

How to report costs for a work order?

To report costs in a work order, press the other options button (3 dots) on the upper right corner. A window with the following options will be displayed:

  • Report labor
  • Report consumptions
  • Report other costs
  • Enter internal requests

Select the option for which you want to report costs. The Report Costs article explains how to report each of these costs.

Other costs can be reported in states that allow for reporting cost.

How to enter internal requests associated with a work order?

To add internal requests associated with a work order, press the other option (3 dots) button. A window with the following options will be displayed:

  • Report labor
  • Report consumptions
  • Report other costs
  • Add internal requests

Select the “Add internal requests” option. The Internal Requests article explains how to enter internal requests associated with a work order.

How create a failure associated with a work order?

To create failures associated with a work order, press the other options (3 dots) button on the upper right corner. A window with an option to create failures will be displayed.

How to see more information about the task?

To see more information about the task, access the Tasks tab and press the (i) symbol on the upper right corner of each task.

How to view the task’s materials?

To see the materials needed to perform the task, access the Tasks tab and press the hammer symbol on the upper right corner of each task.

How to know if a WO originated from an occurrence?

If the work order is originated from an occurrence, the “Occurrence” field will be displayed in its details.

How to view my WOs through the Map view?

To view your Work Orders on the Map view, you need to select the “Map View” tab on the “My Work” screen.

After loading the map, there will be pins marking the locations of the WOs.
The map only displays WO from associated locations where the coordinates are specified.
Markers have the following different colours, depending on whether the WO is related to an asset/location or a route.

      • Asset – WO associated with an asset, with the following symbol:
      • Location – WO associated with a location, with the following symbol:
      • Asset Route – WO associated with an asset route, with the following symbol:
      • Location Route – WO associated with a location route, with the following symbol:
