To create a new location in Asset Management, follow these steps:
- Select the Locations option from the menu.
- From the list of locations, press the (+) button on the lower right corner to open a screen where you can create a location.
- Fill in the required fields and press the “Save” button on the upper right corner of the screen.
The Location will inherit the schedule and relevance of the parent location, if it has been specified.
Coordinates must be entered as Decimal degrees (DD) to be displayed on the map.
How to associate photos or attachments to a location?
To associate photos or attachments to a location, follow these steps:
- On the screen for creating a location, press the “Attachments” tab.
- From the lower right corner, press the (+) button.
- A window with the “Photo” or “Files” options will be displayed.
The “Files” option will trigger a file explorer window where you can select the desired file.
If you run a Windows operating system, you can only access the ValuekeepDownloads and ValuekeepUploads folders. We suggest placing the files you wish to upload inside the ValuekeepUploads folder.
If you run an Android operating system, the ValuekeepDownloads and ValuekeepUploads folders are inside the system’s Downloads folder. Under Windows operating systems, the ValuekeepDownloads and ValuekeepUploads folders can be found at: C:Users%USERNAME%DownloadsValuekeep Mobile.
