To create a stock issue, follow these steps:
- Access the Inventory | Transactions | Stock issue option;
- Specify the Warehouse;
- Specify the item, quantity and price;
- Create.
The stock balance of the item is updated after performing the stock issue. The same applies for negative stock postings.
You can validate the previous document’s stock issue posting through the Inventory Audit Report under Inventory | Reports | Inventory audit report, where there is a reference to the document that originated it and its corresponding posting quantities.
You can make inventory postings that generate negative stock values. For this, you need to change a global Inventory Management parameter available at: Configuration | Inventory | Inventory Setup.
