Work order types allow you to classify the work orders and to apply specific behaviors after being configured. To create a new work order type, select the Configuration Tables | Work Orders | Work Order Types option:

  • Click on "Create new record";
  • Enter the key and the description of the work order type;
  • Configure the behavior of the work orders of this type:
    • Must Start Tasks: if the option is active, the work orders of this type , explicitly require , the task to be started before reporting costs, consumptions, labor, among others;
    • Must not emit Stock Issue: if active, the work orders of this type do not cause stock issues in consumptions report;
    • Do not assign work order: if the option is active, the work orders of this type do not require a task to be assigned to an employee before reporting costs, consumptions, labor, among others;
    • Assign Tasks To WO Responsible: if this option is active, Maintenance Plan tasks associated with the WO are automatically assigned to the Person in Charge of the WO, if he/she is an employee of the Work Center to which the Maintenance Plans are associated;
