From the Work Orders Explorer you can view maintenance operations and events in a timeline:

  1. Preventive maintenance events
  2. Issues
  3. Failures
  4. Work Orders
  5. Asset and location shutdowns

You can also create WOs on the expected date.

To access the work orders explorer follow these steps:

  1. Access All Tasks Menu | Work Orders | Work Orders Explorer. The work orders explorer is displayed;
    1. The system displays events for the current month with the default filters.
  2. Click Toggle filters set the value for the fields to filter and click Apply;
  3. Select the Day or Week view;
  4. You can navigate to other dates using the next/previous buttons or by selecting a date on the calendar (upper right corner);
    1. In the monthly view, click a week row header or a day to change the view to that specific week or day;
    2. In the weekly view, click a day column header or a day to change the view to that specific day.
  5. Double click a calendar event to edit the entity or use the Refresh option from the context menu;
  6. If this is a preventive maintenance event, you can create/approve/open a WO for that event using the context menu.

You can only see or filter information for events associated with assets, locations or routes of work centers for which the user is responsible.

State filters filter information as follows:

  • Drafts
    • All Issues, WOs or shutdowns in "Pending" state;
  • To Do
    • Preventive maintenance events without WO;
    • Issues in the initial state ("Waiting for Approval" by default);
    • WOs in the initial state ("Waiting for Approval" by default);
    • Shutdowns in "Waiting for Approval" state.
  • Doing
    • Issues in any state except for the initial, final and canceled states and with no associated WO;
    • WOs in any state except for the initial, final or canceled states;
    • Shutdowns in "Approved" state with a starting date after the current date or currently in progress (in which the current date is after the starting date and before the shutdown end date);
  • Done
    • Issues in the final state ("Closed" by default) or in a canceled state and with no WO associated;
    • WOs in the final state ("Closed" by default) or in a canceled state;
    • Shutdowns in "Approved" state with an end date before the current date;

When WOs are generated from other events, such as issues or preventive maintenance events, the explorer will only display the generated WO. Issues are always displayed, regardless of the state filter applied.

To create a WO, double-click the expected WO day/time, depending on whether you are using the Monthly, Weekly or Daily view. The WO creation screen opens in a new tab and the expected date is set to the time selected in the explorer. You can also create WOs using the explorer's context menu by clicking with the right mouse button on the WO's expected day/time.
