Creating asset routes allows you to aggregate a set of assets to be used in batch maintenance operations.
You can create a new route from the Configuration Tables | Assets | Routes | Asset Routes option by selecting “Create new record” on the upper part of the list.
This file’s information is organized in groups:
- General information
Specify the code, the description and the route’s main location. It is also possible to set the family, brand and model of the route’s assets. - Locations
On this tab, you must specify at least one location for the route. The assets must be children of the route’s main location. If you set family, brand or model, all assets associated with the route should be classified in these entities.
You can reorder assets by specifying the value of the Order column. When you save, the list of assets will be sorted based on the value of that column.
