What generic errors can occur?

The following errors can occur in any synchronization feature:

  • The location or asset is not on service – which means that the on service date is empty on the location or asset file. To solve this, you need to access the file of the asset or location and enter its on service date.
  • The location or asset is not on service, therefore the operating condition cannot be stopped – which means that the on service date is empty on the location or asset file. To solve this, you need to access the file of the asset or location and enter its on service date.

What are the possible errors when creating a work order?

The following errors can occur when you create a work order through the device and synchronize it with the backoffice:

  1. The location or asset does not belong to the work center – here, you must access the backoffice and associate the asset or location with the work center.
  2. The maintenance plan in not in the Approved state – here, you must edit the work order and change the maintenance plan.

What are the possible state transition errors?

The following errors can occur when you perform a state transition through the device:

  1. The end date must be after the current date.

What are the possible labor report errors?

The following errors can occur when you report labor through device:

  • The number of hours reported is higher than the difference between the start date and the end date – to solve this error, the number of hours reported must be lower than the difference between the report’s start and end dates. Example:
    • Start date – 04/11/2017 15:00
    • End date – 04/11/2017 16:00
    • The number of hours must be equal to or less than 1. A value higher than this will trigger the mentioned error.
  • The task was not assigned to the specified employee or one of his specialties – to solve this error you must assign the current work order tasks to the employee.
  • The state of the Work Order was not In Progress at the moment when the labor was reported. – this error can occur because the WO state change was not uploaded yet. Here, you must sync the state transition before the labor report. If the synchronization was already performed, you must change the labor report date to a valid date.

What are the possible other costs report errors?

The following errors can occur when you report other costs through device:

  • The state of the Work Order was not In Progress at the moment when the other costs were reported. – this error can occur because the WO state change was not uploaded yet. Here, you must sync the state transition before the other costs report. If the synchronization was already performed, you must change the other costs report date to a valid date.

What are the possible contract consumption errors?

  • The state of the Work Order was not In Progress at the moment when the contract consumption was reported. – this error can occur because the WO state change was not uploaded yet. Here, you must sync the state transition before the contract consumption report. If the synchronization was already performed, you must change the contract consumption report date to a valid date.
  • The report quantity is greater than the quantity on the contract – this error occurs because the user is entering a higher quantity for the consumption than that in the contract. To solve this error, enter a lower quantity.
  • The series range was reached – this error occurs when the series of the stock issue document is not valid. Here, you must configure a valid series for the stock issue document.
  • The items are not in stock – when this error occurs, you need to register stock entries for the referred item.

What are the possible internal request errors?

The following errors can occur when you enter an internal request through the device:

  • The state of the Work Order was not In Progress or Approved at the moment when the internal request was made – this error can occur because the WO state change was not uploaded yet. Here, you must sync the state transition before the internal request. If the synchronization was already performed, you must change the internal request date to a valid date.
  • There are duplicated items – there cannot be repeated items in internal requests. Here, you must edit it and remove the duplicated items.

What are the possible task classification errors?

The following errors can occur when you perform task classification through the device:

  • Task classification requires you to enter remarks – to solve this, edit the task, write in the remarks field and save.

What are the possible failure classification errors?

The following errors can occur when you perform failure classifications:

  • The current state does not allow you to change the symptom, cause and action – this error occurs because the state of the Work Order is not In Progress. To solve this problem, place the work order In Progress.
  • The “Symptom, cause and action” combination must be unique – this error occurs because there is already this combination of symptom, cause and action. To solve this error use another combination of symptom, cause and action.
